Measurements:

The neck hole diameter is 1.6 inches (5-inch circumference). The diameter of the entire collar is 9 inches (28-inch circumference).

What parrots can fit in this collar?

These collars also fit parrots other than Congo African Greys that are a similar size. This includes but is not limited to Eclectus Parrots, Galahs, Tanimbar Corellas, and Rose-breasted cockatoos. Please note that this does not fit the Timneh African Grey as it is much smaller than the Congo.

Collar Types:

Slip-On 4 Layer: Slips on over your bird's head, has no fasteners. This collar is for mild pluckers. It prevents plucking of the chest, back, wings, and under the wings. Does not stop parrots from getting to their neck, feet, and tail, and has a thin draping style.

Slip-On 7 Layer: Slips on over your bird's head, has no fasteners. This collar is for moderate pluckers. Prevents plucking of all areas other than the neck and feet. It has 5 layers of preenable fabric and 2 supporting bottom layers to ensure a perfect and soft cone-like shape.

Metal Snaps 5 Layer: Metal button snaps allow for this collar to be placed around the parrot's neck. A hidden pocket encases the metal snaps to prevent parrots from removing them. This collar can be harder to put on since the snaps need to be lined up. Best for birds who don't like items slipped over their head. Has three top layers of preenable fabric and two bottom layers that support the collar for a cone-like shape.
